Condolences to Elizabeth II, Queen of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The First President of Kazakhstan sent a telegram of condolence to Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the passing of her husband Prince Philip.

Nursultan Nazarbayev was deeply saddened to learn of Prince Philip's death.

«He lived a full and vibrant life. An unfailing support to Your Majesty and a true patriot of his country he served the interests of the Commonwealth and made his mark on its history.

During my visits to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and my meetings with you and Prince Philip I always felt his warm feelings towards Kazakhstan.

In this time of sorrow, I join with you and your loved ones in mourning your loss and express my deepest sympathy to you, the Royal Family and all the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,” the telegram reads.
